A cocktail bar in Shoreditch by Mr Lyan

Seed Library is the neighbourhood bar from Mr Lyan and team with a focus on stripped-back analogue forms and a maker's touch. Expect great vibes and next-level craft.

Find us in the basement at One Hundred Shoreditch - open Wednesday to Sunday til late, with our East London friends at Diggers Dozen spinning vinyl on the weekends. We recommend booking to save a space but we’ll always try to accommodate walk-ins.


Wednesday, Thursday: 6pm - 1am
Friday: 6pm - 2am
Saturday: 4pm - 2am
Sunday: 5pm - midnight

Seed Library welcomes guests over 18.

Cocktail bartender Ryan Chetiyawardana goes by Mr Lyan, which is arguably easier to say, he says. In 2013, he shook up London’s bar scene with White Lyan, the first zero-perishables cocktail spot - no fruit, no ice, way less waste. That boundary-breaking ethos lives on in Super Lyan (Amsterdam), Lyaness (London), Silver Lyan (Washington D.C.), and now Seed Library Shoreditch.
